*Please note that indoor pool hours may change depending on lifeguard availability when the outdoor pools are open. When outdoor pools are open, the indoor pools are limited to lap swimming and workout use only; recreational swimming is not permitted.
The Artesia Aquatic Center is an attraction for guests of all ages serving the City of Artesia and surrounding communities. Offering a wide variety of programs, activities, and aquatic attractions, we are also a purpose destination for travelers in the area. Guests of our outdoor facility can enjoy a full concession stand, splash away in the site’s multiple water features, relax in the lazy river, or slide down one of the three water slides from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Artesia Aquatic Center is equipped with 4 unique bodies of water: An indoor 25-yard competition pool, an indoor warm-water training pool, an outdoor zero-depth entry wading pool with multiple water features including a custom oil rig themed Whitewater Aquaspray structure for swimmers up to 12 years old, and an outdoor one-of-a-kind bulldog recreation pool with a lazy river and 3 water slides. We offer a variety of programming, including swim lessons, water fitness classes, American Red Cross certification courses, and even tumbling.
Sabrina, now the General Manager of Artesia Aquatic Center, has been with the facility for four years, starting before SFC took over in 2023. Born and raised in Artesia, she is deeply connected to the community. Previously serving as Operations Manager, Sabrina has shown exceptional leadership. She is a Certified Pool Operator®, and holds multiple American Red Cross® certifications, including Lifeguard, Lifeguard Management, and CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor.
